Cataract Laser Surgery

Procedure: In cataract surgery, the lens inside your eye that has become cloudy is removed and replaced with an artificial lens (called an intraocular lens, or IOL) to restore clear vision.

Duration: About 30 minutes or less.

Anesthesia: Local

Side Effects: a Blurred vision for a day or two.

Recovery: Approximately one week.
