Blepharoplasty

Procedure: This procedure removes or repositions excess fat (bags) and the skin of the upper and lower eyelids, eliminating the onset of fatigue. Repositioning is natural folds that blend lines of incisions.

It is often associated with facial rejuvenation surgery.

Duration: 1-2 hours.

Anesthesia: Local or general, depending on the patient.

Hospitalization: Is an ambulatory process.

Side Effects: Temporary discomfort, swelling and minor bruising. Burning and itchy eyes. Excessive tearing and sensitivity to light during the first week.

Recovery: Back to normal activities: 7-10 days.

Contact lenses: two weeks or more.

Strenuous activity: 3 weeks.

The disappearance of bruising and swelling: 1-2 weeks
